“FOR FREEDOM THROUGH POETRY: LINES DEDICATED TO PALESTINE” PROGRAM WAS HELD IN OUR FACULTY

The program “To Freedom with Poetry: Lines Dedicated to Palestine” was held in our faculty conference hall on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 12:30 by the Science and Thought Community of the Faculty of Theology of Trakya University and the İkra Book Community with the support of the Health, Culture and Sports Department. The program, which started with the Quran recitation by one of our faculty students, Savaş RAMADAN, continued with the welcoming speeches of our faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Necdet ÜNAL and our university Health, Culture and Sports Department Head Ahmet YENCE. After the opening speech by İkra Book Community Advisor Prof. Dr. Muhammet ALTAYTAŞ, who expressed the meaning and importance of the program, the conference and poetry recital began. Moderated by Ayşe Birce BAĞCİVAN, the program was contributed by Writer-Poet Muhterem ŞAHİN with her speeches and Radio Host Adem DORUK with his poems. The program ended with the poetry recitals of our faculty students Hasan SAĞAT, Muhammed Emin DİLLİ and Dilara DALLI.
